You can link your VIZIO account to your TV or other VIZIO devices by signing into your account online, adding your device, and entering the 6-digit code displayed on your TV.

Step 1 — Sign in to Your VIZIO Account
Go to vizio.com/setup and sign in using your email and password. If you do not have an account yet, you can create one by selecting the "Create Account" option and following the prompts to provide your email, password, name, birthdate, and phone number. You can also use social login options like Google or Apple. Adding a payment method is optional but recommended for managing subscriptions
Step 2 — Add Your Device
Once logged in, navigate to the TVs & Soundbars section in your account. Click “Add TV” or the corresponding add device option. The system will prompt you to provide a 6-digit code from your TV.
Step 3 — Retrieve the TV Code
On your VIZIO TV, go to the Home Screen > Extras > VIZIO Account. Follow the on-screen instructions until a 6-digit code appears. If using the VIZIO mobile app, you can scan the QR code on your TV screen to quickly retrieve the code
Step 4 — Link the Device
Enter the 6-digit code from your TV into the online account interface or VIZIO app. Your TV or device will now be linked to your VIZIO account, giving you access to streaming apps, new release notifications, and priority support
Additional Tips
- If your device is not appearing, press the Back button on your VIZIO remote to generate a fresh 6-digit code
- You can manage connected TVs, subscriptions, and payment methods directly from your VIZIO account online
- The VIZIO app is available from your device’s app store and can facilitate linking, as well as scanning the QR code for faster setup
- Factory resetting your TV will remove it from your account if needed, and you can re-link by repeating the steps above
By following these steps, your VIZIO account will be successfully linked to your device, providing access to streaming services, app subscriptions, and other personalized VIZIO features.
